Changing places at Athboy CCC

We aim to create an inclusive space for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions. Our Changing Places area is fully equipped with amenities like grab rails, privacy screens, an adjustable-height toilet, and a wheelchair-accessible sink. It ensures a safe and hygienic environment for personal care. We recognize the challenges some individuals face in accessing suitable washroom facilities and strive to make our center welcoming to everyone. The Changing Places facility is open to all who need it, and we appreciate feedback to enhance our services.

Wheelchair Accessible Parking: Designated parking spaces with accommodations for wheelchair users. Height-Adjustable Adult-Sized Changing Bench: Bench that can be adjusted to different heights to facilitate changing for adults. Full Room Coverage Ceiling Track Hoist System: A system of tracks installed on the ceiling to facilitate safe transfers for individuals with mobility challenges. Adequate Space for the User and Up to Two Assistants: Sufficient room for the user and accompanying assistants to maneuver comfortably. Centrally Located Toilet Bowl with Extra Space Both Sides for Assistants: Toilet bowl positioned centrally with additional space on both sides for assistants to provide assistance. Wide Paper Roll: Paper roll with ample width for hygienic purposes. Large Waste Disposal Bin: A bin with a generous capacity for disposing of waste materials. Washbasin: Sink for personal hygiene purposes.
