At Athboy Development Forum, we believe that every member of the community has a valuable contribution to make, regardless of age, background or gender. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive organisation, welcoming and supporting diversity in all its forms.
Check out the facilities we have available at both the Convent Community Centre (CCC) and St. James’ Hall. These include halls with stage areas; meeting rooms; a digital hub; conferencing facilities; classrooms, a Changing Places location; kitchens and we even have a fully kitted out Snooker Room!
We run two community facilities in our town: Athboy CCC and St. James’ Hall. These are more than buildings, they are centres for the community offering spaces for groups, individuals/remote workers, conferencing, classes, events, concerts, and much more. With a broad spectrum of community, business, sporting, recreational and wellbeing active groups utilising both locations, these facilities are at the heart of our community in Athboy.
Our Changing Places area ensures a safe, hygienic space with grab rails, privacy screens, and wheelchair-accessible facilities. Open to all, we value feedback to improve accessibility. Supported by Changing Places Ireland, including organisations like the Disability Federation of Ireland and Irish Wheelchair Association.
