Athboy - Kells Badminton Club
We are a badminton sports club. We cater for adult players of all standards, from beginner to experienced. Many of our members play competitively, while others join us for exercise and social games. Our teams participate in many different grades in the Meath League, and some members also play in tournaments in Dublin and represent Meath in inter-county competitions. We have approximately 40 members, male and female, from 18 to over 70 years old, and we always welcome new players, both beginners and experienced. September is the best time for new players to join, as it is the start of the season.
We are affiliated with both the Meath Badminton Association and the overall governing body for the sport, Badminton Ireland.

We play in the CCC hall twice a week, every Monday and Thursday night at 8 p.m. from September to April or early May.

What to Expect:
We have two courts, so there is a good turnover of games on any night.
We normally run club social tournaments a few times during the season.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have some casual fun, our badminton nights are open to players of all skill levels.
