Staff members and volunteers of Athboy Development Forum recently completed their Safeguarding training, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to providing safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for everyone who uses our facilities.
Both Athboy Convent Community Centre and St. James Hall host a diverse range of people, from young children and families to older members of the community, making it essential that all staff and volunteers maintain up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and best practice. This training ensures that our team is equipped to recognise, respond to, and report any safeguarding concerns appropriately, helping to create an environment where all users can participate with confidence, knowing their wellbeing and safety are a priority
